The objective of the project was the development of a study entitled "Pilot Model Training Guide for the Implementation of the Post-Secondary Apprenticeship Year for Holders of EPAL (Vocational Upper Secondary School) Qualifications."
The study aimed to define the methodological, pedagogical, and operational specifications for the implementation of post-secondary initial vocational education and training (IVET) programmes, based on a dual-learning approach combining school-based vocational training in EPAL laboratories with work-based learning in enterprises.
The study was developed in accordance with the relevant legislative framework and regulations governing the optional educational pathway "Post-Secondary Apprenticeship Year – EPAL Apprenticeship Class." It was designed to support curriculum developers responsible for the individual apprenticeship specialisations, teachers delivering the programmes, apprentices, and the relevant implementation bodies.
In addition, the study serves both as a practical step-by-step implementation guide and as a template forming the basis for the development of Training Guides for all specialisations offered under the Post-Secondary Apprenticeship Year.
